208th Legion

One of the only completely purist legion in the Clone Army Builders Guild.

The 208th legion. We Stand Together, We Fall Together.

The 208th Legion is a private legion of the GAR made to defend republic captured planets. It is spread out quite thinly and is sometimes but rarely used to reinforce assaults on planets. Since the 208th is mainly used to defend planets GAR commanders decided it wasn't appropriate to expend a Jedi commander on such a legion, so it is clone run.

Clone Commander: Avic.

Clone Commander Avic was a test clone specifically made to withstand searing and freezing conditions. He prefers close range weapons like the shot gun and pistol. He is well respected by his troops and is known to be a tactical expert. Due to his odd position as a clone he was forced to go through the killing house like clone commandos, alone. He can be bitter and quick to come up with a witty remark.


Sub-Commander: Ace.

Ace was orginally a clone trooper of the 31st legion but was transferred after he was a sole survivor of a massive separatist assault. He was quick to rise in the ranks and has a knack for scavenging weapons and armor to create his own. He uses the armor of a Manolorian with metal plated added to further withstand rocket blasts from hail fire droids. He has a custom build laser rifle which runs on a nuclear battery and seemingly never runs out of ammo. (Halo reference ).

Divisions

Standard Troopers.

The Standard troopers of the 208th legion are equipped with a standard DC-17 rifle and a combat knife. They are quick to follow orders but have a fierce rivalry with Heavy Troopers.


Heavy Troopers:

Heavy troopers mostly use heavy laser rifles and rocket launchers. They are always part of every operation and are respected by all troopers since they have saved there life's from vehicles more then once.


Assault Troopers:

Assault troopers are mainly used to storm buildings an fortified positions. They are used heavily on the front lines an sustain many losses since they are primarily used in the first wave of any attack. They are usually referred to as cannon fodder since they make up the bulk of the 208th legion.


Mechanics

Mechanics are the field medical and mechanical troopers. They carry heavy amounts of bacta and are only armed with a pistol and knife. The site of them some troopers describe as the equivalent of a Gun Ship to take them out of heavy lines.

Scout Troopers:

Scout troopers use Hermes Class Scout Walkers to scan the areas in front of the main troop mass. They are also used to defend the rear of the main force. They are heavily exposed to gun fire in there walkers so they are experienced in evading gun fire.

Hermes Class Scout Walker:

The Hermes Class Scout Walker is a light armor quick mech used my Scout Troopers of the 208th legion. They were mass produced at the request of Clone Commander Avic and were primarily used as rear guards for the main attacking force. They have a single repeating cannon that can fire in both directions. It also has a grappling hook used to climb mountain sides, it is nimble and responds immediately to a scouts touch.

Well I was about 5 minutes into making it and I was only posting descriptions at the time. I can't exactly type a whole legion in about 5 minutes .

Updated. Since Tac got around to making his own Corp I decided to update this in a attempt to join.

Edit: The legion is truly complete. I updated the legion icon to look better and to look transparent on the Cabg website. I might at a vehicle or two here and there sometimes.
