Legion Zero

Legion Zero, the most secret Legion of the GAR. In this Legion new combat tactics and trooper variants are tested before eventually given to all Legions. To do so, every trooper has ARC training and these troopers are among the best in the galaxy. Only very few people know of it's existence and even less know what it does. The Legion is made up on 4 Regiments: The experimental Airborne Regiment, Infantry Regiment, Tank Regiment and the Space Regiment.

Commanders:
Senior Clone Commander Nav
Nav is Legion Zero's Senior clone commander and is known for it's tactical superior above all other clones. He was put into ARC training when he wasn't even full grown yet, making him stand out from the rest. He wears light yellow armor.

Clone Commander Dexer
If there's one superior combat trooper then it's Dexer. He is known for his awesome combat skills and knows over 100 different ways to brutally kill a droid. He lost count of how many he already killed, but they're still too less according to him. Around the end of the clone wars he discovered his love for dual pistols and never goes to battle without them. His armor is a more darker shade of yellow compared to Nav's armor.

High Jedi General Laki'na
Female Twi'lek commander. At first, she refused to join the Jedi but eventually did so after her whole family was executed by the Trade Federation in 35 BBY. She tries to solve problems in a peaceful way, but that doesn't mean she's not skilled with the force.

Jedi Padawan Skyrax
A Male Padawan discovered by Laki'na on Tatooine. Skyrax' family was murdered by a bounty hunter, he was 7 at the time. Laki'na was very sorry for the small kid, especially since she know how it's like to lose your entire family. She took the kid to Coruscant where she was granted permission to train him herself. Now grown up, he's a skilled Jedi in lightsaber combat. He's also a good technician and often helps repairing damaged vehicles. Close friends often call him Sky.

Vehicles associated with Commanders:
    - Nav's Speeder Bike
    - Jedi Starfighters
    - Mobile Command Post

Regiment: 101st 'Screaming Gizkas' Regiment -- Troopers: 2,304

The Airborne regiment was a regiment to test a whole new form of combat. Drop small numbers of highly trained troops with enough supplies to last a few days without support. This is done by parachute so that they can carry a backpack with supplies - a jetpack would limit the amount of supplies one could carry. Usually about 3 teams, with 3 gunners, 3 riflemen, an engineer and a medic per team, together with commander, were dropped.

Classes and gear:
Commander: DC-18 carbine, macrobinoculars, 2 pulse grenades, DC-18 pistol.
Engineer: DC-18 rifle/sniper with frag grenade attachment, 3 detpacks, holotransmitter, harpoon. MA-38 Anti-Tank weapon.
Rifleman: DC-18 rifle/sniper with pulse grenade attachment, 2 frag grenades, harpoon, DC-18 pistol.
Gunner: DC-18 LMG/MG with pulse grenade attachment, 2 frag grenades, harpoon, DC-18 pistol

Hmm. Some of the decals are a bit off and un-proportioned. Did you use stickers, or decals? If you use stickers, where did you get them?

Self-printed and hand-cutted. I'm sorry but if you have a scout trooper, just look at the helmet, and you'll see how hard it is to get some stickers on there!

Oh yes, I noticed that too. What printing program and sheets do you use to print the stickers?

Just some windowsprograms, a 'better' version of paint, and then I put all together in Microsoft powerpoint, and print them at a good quality on a sticker sheet. Not very hard.

I'm aleady working on that, I almost have the Gunner-troops ready, and I have a new cape for my Jedi. Making decals and clothes yourself takes pretty much time, you know.

I don't mean to criticize but if you are using the same material I'm using it shouldn't take that long, what do you use? Green

Cool ideas DP.
They look pretty cool. However instead of using paper here is an idea, try using the sticker panels that you have left over from just about any of the latest sets and spray paint them whatever color you need, and then you can cut them out into whatever shapes you desire! Wink I notice that there is plenty of "sticker" material leftover from the dropship sets. Smile

That would be very good idea! Hoewever, the reason I do it with paper is that I can remove it afterwards without any problems. This is a lot harder with those stickers from lego.\

EDIT: Another Regiment up: 71st Ground Pilot Regiment!

Instead if having a Gunner and Scout regiment in one, I made 1 gunner and 1 scout regiment. I aslo have some new vehicles ready, just have to add logo's on it. I think they are up today or tomorrow.

PS, can someone please comment? Sad

Hey DP,

Just a little note. You can also number your regiments, and you don't have to make them all one kind of trooper. A regiment is normally a number of troops commanded by a leader. In each regiment they will have pilots, techies, medics etc. Just like a platoon is made up of four squads... Each squad still carries the same type of troops, they are just under the command of a Sergeant. Generally, a legion will be of all the same type of trooper.
But what your doing is also cool.

Thanks for your comment. However, I like it this way. Makes it look like they are more exceptionell. That they are part of a group that has the same speciality, not just put all together in 1 group.

When you read this i'll probaly have the following things up:

605th Air Pilot Battalion (I'm going to use this guy as a pilot in my WIP Gunship)
AT-RT and AT-AP with some small modifications and logo stickers.
RHAV with Logo stickers.

I would like some comments, if anyone has time! Razz
