212th Mechanical Legion
Background Info:
The 212th is a mechanical legion filled with walkers, STAT's and other vehicles. They have been to many planets, crushing droids under their stampedes and laser fire. The 212th tend to split up into smaller groups, sneaking up on the enemy before coming back together, charging at them yelling battle cries at the droid menace. Some memorable campaigns were Kyere and Farus, both were huge successes.
Troops:
The average 212th trooper wears advanced scout armour (ASA) which can protect them from blaster fire and small missiles.
Many carry custom weapons such as 'Droid Dicers' and 'Bird Boxs'. Each one is put through vigorous training and is fearless in battle.
Vehicles:
The main 212th vehicles are the AT-AW (All Terrain-Assault Walker) and the STAT (Scout Trooper Assault Tank). Although these are the main vehicles and are perfect for almost every mission there is a rumour that even more vehicles are in production.
Notable Regiments:
Regimental Commander: Haxxor
AT-AW's: 150
STAT's: 50
AT-SW's: 80
Troops: 1,250
Regimental Commander: Das
AT-AW's: 30
STAT's: 40
AT-SW's: 20
Troops: 900
Regimental Commander: Vice
AT-AW's: 80
STAT's: 10
AT-SW's: 150
Troops: 450
Bios:
CC-3012 'Tac':
CC-3012 (Tac) is famous for his love of machines. In battle it is indeed a rare sight for a clone to see him fighting without a walker or STAT by his side. He wears a hood, similar to one a Jedi would use, fitted with his custom binoculars. These state-of-the-art gizmos allow Tac to survey a battlefield with ease.
CC- 5461 'Haxxor'
There's no door Haxxor can't hack into or blow up. He's one of the 212th's best hackers and demolition experts and loves to blow stuff up. KABOOM!
CC-6391 'Cel'
Cel quickly went up through the ranks and became a commander. At first he was an amazing success, leaving a trail of broken droids in his wake. This soon changed on Hefeka. He was ambushed by droideka's and took cover in a nearby cave. His troops weren't so lucky. They all died. After that Cel gave up being a commander and became one of the 212th's best assassins.
CC-1843 'Vice'
CC-1843 was just an ordinary 212th Trooper stationed in an outpost Radesh along with eleven other troopers. Whilst his team was patrolling they were attacked by a huge flying rat type beast. He managed to slay the beast, but got a huge slit across his neck and got stabbed in the process. He was taken to a medical frigate nearby, but his squad was told he wouldn't make it. It had turned out he also got some kind of acid in his left eye and a bit in his right, if that wasn't enough he also got stabbed in his chest piercing a lung and making his body useless. His squad didn't want to lose him, so they made him a robotic suit and a helmet. His head was put on top and new vital organs were place inside the metal frame. This saved his life, but he still couldn't see out his left eye and could barely see out of his left. They then made an eye patch for his left eye and once again he was ready for deployment.
CC-1866 'Dakka'
Since he was a little clone/boy in Kamino Dakka was always sneaking around and ambushing his cloners. This made him the perfect candidate to lead the 212th special ops squad. A master of ambush Dakka has won lots of victories for the 212th and even some other legions.
CC-3568 'Stampede'
Stampede has never been fond of quiet ambushes and prefers to charge straight at his enemies. The sight of him charging towards you is enough to make you turn and flee, but unfortunately droids don't get scared, so he gets rid of them the old fashioned way.
Jedi Master Jek:
Ever since he was a lad Jek was strong force user. Good with a lightsaber and guns, just the sight of him slicing and dicing is enough to boost morale throughout the 212th.
Garek Raul:
Not much is known about Garek, but one thing's for sure, he loves building/creating new and interesting things out of metal. His latest creation is a great help on the battlefield and allows him to wield up to six lightsabers at a time!
212th Trooper:
It's always shoot to kill in the eyes of these troops. Average troopers consist of advanced scout trooper armour and custom weapons such as 'bird boxes' and 'droid slicers'.
Spec Op Troopers:
These troops are usually sent on spying, recovering and sabotaging missions. Equipped with NVG's these troopers can work during day or night.
Delta 3.0:
"Pah, droids fighting droids! What next, Clones fighting Jedi?" - CC- 5461 'Haxxor'
The Delta 3.0 is a magnificent piece of machinery. This huge mecha has a built in rocket launcher and can fire every single one of it's long trail of rockets at an enemy target without hesitation. If you see one of these stomping towards you, it's game over. 24 of these beasts were used at the famous battle of Taxus VI. There was millions of droids and CIS factories on that planet. By the time the Delta's were done there was nothing but scorched rock.
STAT mk. II:
A smaller and chubbier version of the CTT, the STAT is a fast armoured killing machine. It is perfect in nearly all environments and packs lasers and rockets for any nasty surprises. The second version is bigger and otherall more pleasing to look at than the first version. Although much smaller than mk. III it can still transport 4 scouts across the battlefield.
STAT mk. III
A smaller and chubbier version of the CTT, the STAT is a fast armoured killing machine. It is perfect in nearly all environments and packs lasers and rockets for any nasty surprises. The mk. III is very different to the first two designs. Where as the first two relied on speed and weapons, this version relies on brute force. Although most STAT mk. III's only have one huge rocket launcher on the side, they can be modded to have more guns and lasers. It's armour easily makes up for the lack of weapons, witnesses of this in action described it as 'A huge metal boulder'. It boxy shape give it a bigger front, making it easier to run over droids, SBDs and even spider droids.
AT-AW:
Mk. I:
The All terrain-Assault Walker is a common sight among droids. With its twin lasers and duel rocket launchers this walkers shows droids the meaning of the word disintegration.
AT-SW
Mk. I:
The All Terrain-Scout Walker is a heavy walker made to withstand heavy droid attacks. Vice has several of these in his regiment and is never seen without one by his side.
F4-1L Vic Viper class Starfighter
A fast agile fighter designed by some of Kynok's most creative engineers. The standard model (Pictured above) features no weapons and leaves plenty of room for customization.
BD-18 Class Speeder
A small and quick recon speeder, these are used mainly on terrain that walkers and STATs have difficultly getting through.
Misc:

Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
It pretty cool! I love the idea. Inspired by 300, amirite ?
A suggestion would be to call the "Droid Slicer" the "Droid Dicer". Sounds cooler.

1.) Oh, great, another Jedi who's "a little bit Sith-y". Can't the Jedi just be, well, Jedi any more?Tac wrote:Ever since he was a boy Jek was always causing trouble. He was "Tainted by the dark side" according to the Jedi council. This proved to be true as at the young age of 17 he turned over to the dark side. 12 years later and he saw "The error in his ways" and assigned himself to the 212th legion.
2.) Wouldn't the council be a little sketchy about giving a major military position to a former Dark Jedi?
3.) I took the 'Badass' part out of your legion title. That's just too far.
4.) Good luck not getting mixed up with Cody/Obi-Wan's 212th Batallion.

4.) Good luck not getting mixed up with Cody/Obi-Wan's 212th Batallion. Hopefully people will notice it's the 212th legion, not Batallion.
Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
That just makes it worse! You've got a legion of unruly clones (sigh - another bad cliché) that now has an unruly general. Surely they'd be assigned a lawful general to keep them in line?Tac wrote:The 212th trooper have alot of hatred and twisted pasts and are a bit reckless, not really giving a ship what the jedi council say. On the 'reckless clones' - could you please explain why they're different to the other clones? And I don't want to hear the words "overcooked pod", "dark side" "force" or "midichlorians" anywhere in your answer.
One last thing: why are there only 300 troops? This is a legion that has to fight global and interplanetary battles in an intersolar war, and you're giving them fewer troops than we'd throw at a country in real life? I can see these guys lasting long.

Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
Those first two things are still silly, but they're excusable, average CABG-level silly, so I'll let 'em pass.
In that case, wouldn't they be more of a spec ops brigade or somesuch, rather than a full-blown legion?Tac wrote:It's more a legion for special operations, not huge ones like Geonosis or Mygeeto, ect.The Jinja Ninja wrote:One last thing: why are there only 300 troops? Yea, they're supposed to follow orders.

GAWD!
3 Notable regiments.
I may start a series of MOC's but it won't be like Sial's comics, more like a MOC with a story.
Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
lawl at Rusty.
He is probably one of the best purist commanders on this site...at least my favorite.
EDIT: Just a little tip....Legion pages look best if all photos are the same style.

Thanks, I wanted him to be a bit unique!
I plan on editing these so the background is White.
Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
Well I made a clone which was inspired by Rusty....I'm having a bit of trouble getting the bionocs in....I did it once then I took it out so I could try again (not what she said)....and now I can't get it to stay. D:<
Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
It's hard, trust me.
Just put the head in the hood the put the lower bit of the binoculars into the lower bit of the hood at an angle, then push the top bit in.

Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
Or be a hardcore modder like Jake and use white-tac....but that's cheating.
Re: 212th Mechanical Legion
